- Credit Unions also have the backing of their own Savings Protection Scheme of €110 million.
Mr. Kieron Brennon (CEO, Irish League of Credit Unions) welcomed the announcement by the Minister of Finance which now includes Credit Unions in it’s deposit guarantee scheme. The scheme guarantees savings up to €100,000 per individual.
